Gilbert's Gang

Gilbert's Gang has been the After School Club at St Gilbert's since 1997.  We started with two members of staff and 12 children and have grown to eight adults and up to 64 children per evening and 32 in the morning.  We meet from 8.00am to the start of school and from the end of school to 6.00pm

Our aim is to provide a safe, caring environment where the children can meet up with their friends and have fun.  We offer structured play (craft, construction toys, board games etc) and outdoor play (football, skipping, rounders etc).  The children are free to choose what they want to do and it is lovely to see them inventing their own games or making their own works of art from materials provided.

Because of the large numbers, we divide into two groups KS1 and KS2.

The younger children meet in the familiar environment of Foundation Stage classrooms and KS2 in the mobile.  At 5.00pm after a snack the two groups join together for the last hour of play.

See the Brochure below for more information, contact Adele Pinto (07552 776885), or see the Gilbert's Gang notice board in the mobile.
