With the aim of delivering a cross-curricular creative curriculum, we plan our lessons around different topic areas each term. These plans give an overview of the topics to be covered by each year group.
Long term plans cover the academic year while medium term plans shows areas of teaching and learning on a weekly basis for each term:
To enhance our teaching and learning further, KS1 children participate in Friday activities and KS2 children are part of our Youth University. Find out more on our Youth University page.

KS2 reading Pro Scheme
The aim of this reading scheme is to guide Key Stage 2 children in choosing appropriate books for their reading ability. Children will complete an assessment in school to discover their level and will then be able to choose appropriate books from school. There is also an E-Library containing a wide range of E-Books too. Follow this link to Scholastic Reading Pro to find out more.
